Property Facilities & Amenities

The suite accommodation are luxurious, and widely spaced, offering privacy to the guests. Guests often afforded a safari experience with a difference from either their own private decks or the main lodge area, with almost daily up close and personal experiences with elephant, buffalo and bushbuck to name but a few.

The main lodge has a spacious lounge with two enormous open fireplaces for the cool winter nights.

The bar area allows for guests to watch elephants drinking out of the swimming pool while enjoying a cold beer or chilled glass of wine.

Kambuku River Sands is located along the western border of Kruger National Park, 16 min from the Orpen Gate. Hoedspruit is 22 min away and Hendrik Van Eck Airport is 62 min from the lodge.

The Timbavati Reserve is the homeland of South Africa’s Big Five and Sedgefield is the habitat of the Knysna seahorse, the rarest of its kind in the world.
